Important Notice:
A 7-pin or 12-pin trailer harness is essential for the brake controller to function correctly.

Toyota has already pre-wired the trailer plug at the rear bumper, so there’s no need to run red or blue wires yourself. Additionally, the brake signal diode comes pre-installed by Toyota, eliminating the need to add one during installation.
